Benefits to hire me:
a. Accuracy: 🎯
Most of the time, I see well-designed educational products almost ready to be sold. But, they have some words in Spanish like “vagón” indicating in a picture that is a car or vehicle.
Honestly, vagón is related to trains, like a train's car. So, the meaning is incorrect and confusing. I would prefer to translate it like “carro”, “coche”, or “automóvil”.
Fortunately, translators could help you with these minor errors. Also, I am here to translate your writing, and educational products to an accurate Latin American Spanish.
b. Creativity: 🤯
Undoubtedly, translators have imagination and creativity for anything related to languages.
Personally, I just did a project in which I suggested including a short Spanish grammar explanation sheet to learn about verb tenses in a set of 1000 Spanish verbs flashcards to better understand the Spanish language.
Therefore, I could give fantastic ideas for your writing, and educational products. So, I encourage you to get in touch and work together to grow your business brand.
c. Value: 🤩
I am proudly Costa Rican. So, I know my culture very well including modism, slang, and expressions used in Latin America,
Therefore, I could translate common expressions in English like “practice makes perfect” to “la práctica hace al maestro” in Spanish, and many other expressions to sound more natural for Latin Americans.
d. Collaboration: 🤝
I have worked with teams where they were looking for translating some vocabulary related to objects in the house, for example, “spare change” (coins) and “rubbing alcohol” (isopropyl alcohol).
Honestly, I had to ask what they meant, and after discussing with the team, I got “spare change”, which are “moneditas” or coins that you could find in your sofa, or bookshelf to buy something later.
On the other hand, “rubbing alcohol” is used to clean wounds. So, we decided to name it “alcohol de uso médico” rather than “alcohol isopropílico” because it is more commercial, popular and for medical use.
Therefore, it was much easier to get a better translation simply collaborating and being part of the team. So, a translator is key to better communicate the ideas from your business in another language.
Indeed, I am here to collaborate with your team to bring reliable products to people and conquer the market!
